Finding Your USP

Numerous affiliate advertisers deem that offering a product that is being sold by numerous- if not millions- of their fellow associates will make things much more grueling for them.  After all, they will be competing for the same patron.  They will be advertising the same product.  And the need for the goods is never boundless.

This, however, is the faulty way of thinking.

Even if you will be competing with 10 million colleagues, you can still come out leading.

How?

Permit me to show to you the cloak-and-dagger of the top associates on the web currently.  This cloak-and-dagger is, plainly, what hurls them to the very top of the tree.

It's called the USP, a short form for one of the most vital arms in advertising: the unique selling proposition.

The unique selling proposition, as you can very well  understand, is consisted of three terms: 1) unique; 2) selling; and 3) proposition.

The USP should be unique, signifies, it should be anything that you - and YOU ONLY- will be presenting.  Nobody else should push for the same idea.  Nobody else should bait the public with the same idea.

The final focus of the USP is to sell, to obtain a profit.  Often, you will have to pay out for the USP.  Then again, you should make sure that a profitable ROI would be carried out.  Affiliate marketing is a business.  You shouldn't be wasting funds.

The USP is a plan, a bargain, a thing that you will show to your target market.  Hence, the USP should be something they will perceive appealing.  The USP should be something that will be difficult for them to decline.

If you will present your affiliate piece with a wonderful USP, persons will choose to purchase from you rather than buying from other associates offering the same product.

Making your own USP is truly a cool process.  All you have to accomplish is to produce variations to your offer that your aimed market will certainly like.  Below are some cases of proven USPs:

-    Packaging the affiliate product with the colleague's own items;
-    Offering discounts, which will be removed from the commission that the affiliate will be entitled to;
-    Giving out future markdowns which can be shouldered by the cut the associate will be entitled to;

-    Providing membership to an elite organization that will be given some benefits.

With a bit of luck, the aforementioned examples will motivate you to produce with a really exciting USP.
